How Does TaskEasy Price Tasks?
We continuously compile market pricing data for the services we sell in more than 400 different metropolitan areas across the United States. From this information, we know the current market prices for all levels of service at any given time in any location in the country. We then establish discounts below these market prices with contractors because we are able to increase their efficiency and reduce their marketing, sales, and back offices expenses. You will find that our prices are very competitive in these markets.
How Do They Do It?
How does TaskEasy save the customer time and money, while making the contractor more profitable at the same time?
Why Doesn't TaskEasy Allow Contractors To Simply Bid On My Tasks?
Soliciting bids from contractors consumes too much of your valuable time and bids are often based on what a contractor believes you might be willing to pay not what you should have to pay for the actual work done. The bidding process is also an expensive time commitment for contractors and drives up the prices they have to charge for jobs they actually get. For routine services like lawn mowing, snow removal, pool cleaning, window washing and other simple, repetitive and routinely ordered tasks, the only reasons you might want to go through a bidding process are:
- To negotiate a better than market price;
- To increase the chance of good quality.
We accomplish both of these objectives for you without all of the work and headaches of the traditional marketing, bidding, and billing processes. When you order a service, you can already be sure that it is below the market price. Then, we locate the contractor, schedule the service and give you the tools to validate and audit that the work is performed to your satisfaction.
How Can I Notify TaskEasy if the Prices Seem Too High for My Market?
Keeping our pricing up to date is a constant effort. If you think pricing is being calculated incorrectly, or appears to be too high in your area, email help@taskeasy.com so that we can make sure we haven't made a mistake. If you send an email, make sure you provide the address of your property.
