As part of our philanthropic branch TaskEasy Cares, our team members recently visited the Humane Society of Utah and spent time doing some amazing work and learning how to help shelter animals.
We were able to donate some essential items, including food and grooming products, and spend time walking and playing with the pets.
The Humane Society does a lot of great work - last year alone they placed over 8,000 animals into loving homes and families and accepted over 3,000 high-risk animals that may have been put down by other shelters.
Here at TaskEasy, we view animals as our companions, friends, and family members, so when our team member and animal lover Jaimi Pinnock organized this TaskEasy Cares volunteer opportunity with The Humane Society, many of our employees jumped on a chance to participate.
"I cannot express enough how much this means to me personally that so many of our wonderful TaskEasy family volunteered and donated money or items to go towards The Humane Society! It's a cause I care about and was so thrilled to plan! We are absolutely planning another volunteer opportunity later on this year," said Jaimi Pinnock.
