What landscaping services does TaskEasy offer?
TaskEasy offers essential lawn care and grounds maintenance services to maintain your residential or commercial properties. Services include lawn mowing, snow removal, desertscaping maintenance (xeriscaping maintenance), seasonal cleanup & debris removal, mulch installation, aeration, fertilization, bush & tree trimming, gutter cleaning, power washing, and more. We also specialize in initial one-time services.
How does TaskEasy price its grounds maintenance services?
Prices for lawn care and grounds maintenance vary depending on the type of service, the service area, and the location of your properties. TaskEasy uses satellite imagery and public record data to estimate each yard’s size to give you the most accurate price possible.
Can residential property managers use TaskEasy for yard care services?
Yes. TaskEasy’s extensive vendor network and yard maintenance automation tools allow us to service diverse property portfolios of 150 serviceable properties or more. Our service creates a streamlined lawn care process that can improve turn-times, eliminate vendor management, and make managing yard maintenance for your properties easier than ever.
Can I order yard care services for a vacant property?
Yes. TaskEasy specializes in servicing vacant single-family and commercial properties (dark properties) year-round.
Can I order TaskEasy yard care services for multiple properties?
Absolutely! You can use TaskEasy to manage lawn care and yard services for all of your properties. Residential single-family rental managers with fewer than 10 properties can order online at TaskEasy.com, otherwise, complete our contact form to get started.
What is TaskEasy’s Service Guarantee?
Each completed TaskEasy service is monitored by our quality assurance team to verify that our quality standards are met.
Does TaskEasy provide before and after photos of each service?
Yes. Upon completion of each service, our vendors will upload before and after photos of their work through our online portal to verify that your service has been completed.

TaskEasy is a national company, but we work directly with local lawn care contractors in your area. We're a big fan of supporting small, local economies and helping landscaping contractors find great clients, like you.
Does it cost money to join TaskEasy?
No. TaskEasy is free to use; there are no membership fees to set up an account.
How much do TaskEasy’s yard care services cost?
Prices for lawn mowing and yard care services vary depending on the type of service, the service area, and your location – TaskEasy uses satellite imagery and public record data to estimate your yard’s size to give you the most accurate price possible for lawn mowing and lawn care services.
How do I pay for TaskEasy’s lawn care services?
When you order a lawn mowing or lawn care service online, you will provide credit card information. Once the service is complete and you're satisfied with the results, the credit card on file will be charged and payment will be sent to the contractor. All services completed and paid through TaskEasy’s platform are insured and covered by TaskEasy's Satisfaction Guarantee. Any payments made by you directly to the contractor and/or services performed by the contractor are not guaranteed and are assumed at your own risk.
What is TaskEasy’s Service Guarantee?
If you aren't satisfied with the quality of work your contractor performs, we'll give the contractor a chance to make it right. If you still aren't satisfied, we'll ask a different contractor to do the job and if that hasn't made you happy, we'll refund your money. Learn more about TaskEasy's Satisfaction Guarantee. If a contractor offers to bypass TaskEasy for a lower price, any payments made by you directly to the contractor and/or services performed by the contractor are not guaranteed and are assumed at your own risk.
Are TaskEasy contractors insured?
Yes. We require all of our contractors to carry both General Liability and Occupational Accidental insurance policies.
How long will it take to receive my first lawn care service?
Based on the availability of contractors in your area, it typically takes 2 business days to schedule your lawn care service to be completed within 7 days of when you initially placed your order – we always strive to schedule and complete your service as soon as possible.
When does TaskEasy charge me and pay the contractor?
After each service, we will send you an email to review and approve of the work performed. You will have 2 days to approve or reject the work, and if we don’t hear from you within two days, we’ll assume you are happy and auto-approve the work. Upon approval, your card will be charged and payment will be sent to your contractor.
Is my credit card information safe?
Yes. TaskEasy cares about our customers’ privacy, and we use industry-certified 256-bit encryption to protect your data against theft and fraud.
Can I negotiate yard care prices with contractors?
TaskEasy offers set prices for all of our lawn mowing and yard care services. Occasionally, the price can be adjusted if the initial yard size was not calculated correctly, however, there's no need to bid with multiple contractors and no negotiation required.
Can I pay my contractor directly?
No. All services completed and paid through TaskEasy’s platform are insured and covered by TaskEasy's satisfaction guarantee. If a contractor offers to bypass TaskEasy for a lower price, any payments made by you directly to the contractor and/or services performed by the contractor are not guaranteed and are assumed at your own risk.
Does TaskEasy offer more than just lawn mowing?
Yes. In addition to lawn mowing, TaskEasy offers aeration, fertilization, and more through the TaskEasy Yard Care app. If you don’t see something you need, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Will my address be made public?
No. Your address is only shared with your scheduled contractor. We keep every service address confidential and never sell any of your personal information to anyone.
If I'm not home, how will I know my lawn mowing service is done correctly?
Following the completion of each service, TaskEasy will email you the photos of the work to verify that your service has been completed. You will have 2 days to approve or reject the work, and if we don’t hear from you within two days, we’ll assume you are happy and auto-approve the work. Upon approval, your card will be charged and payment will be sent to your contractor
If I order a recurring lawn mowing service, can I skip a week?
If you need to ‘skip’ a lawn mowing service, please contact us at least 48 hours before your next scheduled service.
How do I cancel my TaskEasy lawn mowing service?
You can cancel your service by contacting us at 1-800-518-4461. You must contact TaskEasy at least 48 hours before your next scheduled service.
Can I order yard care services for a rental property?
Yes. You can order service for a rental property. You don't need to live at the address where our contractors perform services. When a rental property is across town or in a different state it can be hard to find reputable contractors to perform services like lawn mowing - but TaskEasy makes it easy.
Can I order service for someone else, for example, parents, friends, or renters?
Yes. Follow the normal ordering process for the address you want. Please inform whomever you are ordering for about the upcoming lawn mowing or yard care service so that there is no misunderstanding when the contractor arrives.

How do I become a TaskEasy Contractor?
To become a TaskEasy contractor you must first answer a few questions about your business. If you meet our requirements, a TaskEasy representative will contact you to set up your account and answer any questions you may have.
Is TaskEasy a lead-gen service?
No. The properties you receive from TaskEasy have been ordered by real homeowners, property managers and commercial facility managers who need lawn mowing and yard care services.
How much does it cost to become a TaskEasy contractor?
Nothing. TaskEasy collects a small percentage from the price the customer pays. We never charge our contractors to use our service. TaskEasy helps you manage bidding, marketing, sales, scheduling, communications, auditing, billing, and collections without any upfront cost.
How do I get paid for TaskEasy services?
Payments for completed jobs are automatically deposited into your account every two weeks.
What services does TaskEasy offer landscapers?
TaskEasy offers landscapers services for residential and commercial properties such as lawn mowing, snow removal, desertscaping maintenance (xeriscaping maintenance), spring cleanup, fall cleanup, debris removal, mulch installation, mulch refresh, aeration, fertilization, bush trimming, tree trimming, gutter cleaning, power washing, and more.
How will I be notified of new properties and lawn care services in my area?
Please ensure your phone number and email address are correct when you apply to become a TaskEasy Contractor. When we have new properties lawn care jobs in your area, we'll contact you and confirm a place on your schedule for them.
Do I need insurance to join TaskEasy?
Yes. TaskEasy cares that you and your work are protected while performing lawn and yard care services for TaskEasy. If you do not have work insurance, TaskEasy will provide both General Liability and Occupational Accidental insurance policies for a per-service fee.
